On 15th August 2026, marking the 80th Independence Day of India, a team of 15 students, accompanied by a teacher coordinator, visited Boys Town, Gummidipoondi, to celebrate the occasion through meaningful community service.
The visit included three significant initiatives: Career Guidance, Dhanya Bandham, and Maitri Vriksham. The Career Guidance session provided students with valuable insights into various career opportunities, future planning, and the importance of education. Through Dhanya Bandham, essential provisions such as rice, dhal, and stationery items were donated, promoting compassion, generosity, and social responsibility.
As part of Maitri Vriksham, a tree was planted as a symbol of friendship, unity, and environmental responsibility. The visit was a memorable and meaningful experience that encouraged mutual learning, kindness, and a spirit of community service among the students.
