Navrathi Celebrations at SSV

Navrathri festivities at SSV were very special with the Golu taking many avatars – a traditional one juxtaposed with eco friendly vibes.Adorably dressed in traditional attire, the students of KG to Std II brought tasty sundal prasadam highlighting the importance of healthy snacking.Students of grade three had the theme of transportation, with safety on the roads a priority. An array of things made of coconut shells was the attractive display from students of Std IV. They also potrayed Durga Maa of ECO propotions with her many arms calling attention to nature conservation. Students of Std V made a forest, spreading light on the need to reduce animal- human conflict. ECOLU ( with guidance from Environmentalist Foundation of India)- with endangered species cardboard cut outs was the contribution of Std VIII students, to pass the message of conservation to their juniors. Thus navrathri celebrations in SSV was a splash of colour and fun where heritage and nature blended into a seamless bond of learning!
