International Chess Day

Our school celebrated *International Chess Day* on 18.7.26 with a fun and interactive activity to help children learn the basics of chess through movement. A large chessboard was arranged on the floor, and the children stood on the squares, becoming the chess pieces themselves.

The teacher called out different chess moves, and the children listened carefully and moved accordingly on the chessboard. This engaging activity helped them understand directions, movement patterns, and the rules of chess in an enjoyable way.

The celebration encouraged logical thinking, concentration, decision-making, and teamwork. The children enthusiastically participated in the activity and thoroughly enjoyed learning the game in a playful and active manner.
