On 7th November, 9 students from our school attended the Apollo Shine Emergency Health Preparedness Programme at Music Academy, Chennai. Led by Dr. Indira Jayakumar and hosted by nutrition ambassador Hasini Lakshminarayanan, the program featured talks from health experts, including Apollo CEO Naveen Varigepalli, on emergency protocols, triage stages, and Apollo Shine’s life-saving impact. Students learned about Apollo’s four pillars of emergency response, the importance of Shine cards, and the role of school nurses. The event concluded with a pledge by student health ambassadors, making it a memorable learning experience for all.
