Pongal Celebrations

Pongal with a Purpose @ SSV –
SSV celebrated Pongal by thoughtfully blending tradition, creativity and environmental awareness. Students participated in hands-on workshops such as thoran making, pot painting, flower veni making, kolam on MDF boards, fridge magnet crafting, and a vibrant Camlin painting session, reconnecting with cultural roots through creative expression.

Bhogi was marked in an eco-friendly manner with a bottle collection drive in place of the traditional bonfire. The collected bottles will be transformed into art, reinforcing the message of sustainability and responsible celebration.
