RYLA CAMP

As part of the Interact RYLA programme, the Interactors of Sri Sankara Vidyashramam School, Thiruvanmiyur,  visited Farm Guru  on 5^th January 2026 and gained hands-on exposure to rural life, leadership, and sustainable practices. The Interactors actively participated in traditional farming activities and learned modern techniques such as drip irrigation and water management , which highlighted the importance of sustainability in agriculture.

The visit also included traditional meals, recreational activities, and experiences like bullock cart rides, beekeeping, and pottery making, fishing, pottery  making etc, which encouraged teamwork and bonding.

The visit significantly enriched the students’ perspective on rural livelihoods, sustainability, and the values of responsible leadership.
